LawWare Release Notes: Version 1.1.2

 

You have installed the Version 1.1.2 update.

 

LawWare wants to ensure that you have the most recent version of the software available.  We are dedicated to offering timely updates to reflect any necessary changes to the system and documents.  Installing an update when available will allow you to take advantage of these modifications.

Language was added pursuant to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act to include the Mini-Miranda warning (15 U.S.C §1692g) in the following:

Motion for Attorney’s fees

Motion to Modify Decree

Added ability to designate clause to be notarized and clause not to be notarized in the following:  (See Will Information questionnaire screen for check box to designate.)

            Trust:

Pour-Over Will – Client/Spouse/Joint

Codicil – Client/Spouse/Joint

Wills:

Last Will and Testament – Client/Spouse/Joint

Codicil – Client/Spouse/Joint

 

Collections:

Journal Entry:  Certificate of Mailing was added. 

 

Trust:  

Quit-Claim Deeds - Joint:  Added identifier of “husband and spouse”.

Last Will and Testament – Client/Spouse/Joint:  Article Four, language changed from “If all grandchildren predecease me…” to “If any grandchildren…” 

 

 

Program Updates

 

Minor changes have been made to the functionality of the program to enhance stability.

 

Program Help

 

Program help is available from the “Help” menu.  Select “Contents” to view help by topic or select “Index” / “Search” to look for specific help information.  “Context” help will display help pertaining to your current location in the program.  You may also access context help at any time by pressing the F1 key.
