The Questionnaire is the area of LawWare™ where all collected data from your client is entered regarding the matter. The Questionnaire is laid out in a very intuitive and logical manner allowing you to fill in necessary information as you obtain it. This information is saved within the client so you can go back and make changes or add more information as it becomes available. There is no longer the need to enter information more than once.



While filling in the Questionnaire, you will notice some questions have an asterisk (*) beside them. The red asterisk (*) denotes fields that are required to be entered. The blue asterisk (*) indicates those fields that we suggest you fill in. If you leave out information from a red asterisk (*) field, a caution sign will appear next to that appropriate screen on the Questionnaire page list. If you leave a blue asterisk (*) field empty, there will be an information tag denoting that some suggested information might not have been filled in. If this information is not entered, the created document will print a blank line for you to fill in at a later time.

LawWare™ uses a dynamic Questionnaire in order to quickly obtain only the pertinent information about your client’s matter. If you select that the client is single, spouse screens will not appear. For example in the Will module, on the Heirs screen, enter the number of Heirs and the questionnaire will logically expand with the necessary number of questions dependent upon your entry. LawWare™ saves you time by skipping over unnecessary fields for you.

LawWare™ strives to make your work easier. The LawWare™ Questionnaire incorporates several tools to aid in speedy data entry. Auto-fill fields complete automatically by pulling information from other parts of the Questionnaire. Often, the information that is filled in automatically will not need to be modified, however you may override the data if necessary. Auto-complete fields will display a list of possible choices based on information that you have entered elsewhere in the Questionnaire (e.g. beneficiary names, cities, zip codes, and counties). As you begin to type in an auto-complete field, the list will change, providing options matching what you have started to enter; select an option from the list to allow auto-complete to finish your entry.

Questions from the entire Questionnaire can be printed in an "interview" format, allowing you to obtain necessary information from your client off-site. Single pages of the Questionnaire can be printed so that they may be given to the client to fill out and bring back.

When the Questionnaire is completed, you can print a paper backup of the Questionnaire information for record keeping purposes.
